WOMEN FIQH (TAHARA)

An interactive and informal series on worship and practice in Islam according to the great jurists of the Hanafi and Sha’fi Schools of law, covering the basics of purification (tahara) and other issues of Islamic law (fiqh) with an orientation to women's concerns, this course offers an opportunity for women to gain essential knowledge of their religion in a way, in a space, and at a time that is structured for women's concerns.

ISLAMIC EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN
With Shaykh Muhammad A Wahid

This course is a comprehensive study of Islamic beliefs.  The course covers the seven basic beliefs of Islam, the five pillars of ritual devotion, how to read Quran by sight, memorisation of the last ten Surahs of the holy Quran and their meaning, Aaitul Qursi, Surah Hashar's last 3 verses, Surah Bakraha's last 2 verses, Surah Yasin, some daily Duas and Surah Muzumil.The Seerah (life history) of our beloved Prophet (s.a), Khulafa Rashidun, great Muslim women, stories of some prophets, basic Fiqah (halal & haram in daily life, family life in Islam, Funeral prayer, duties and obligations, hijab, social responsibilities, bad conduct and prohibitions, basic qualities of a Muslim, etc), current and modern issues relevant to our children and adults, living in the western countries.

FIQAH CLASSES
With Shaikh Hafiz Muhammad Abdul Wahid

A detailed explanation of the principles of Fiqh (usul-e-fiqh) and Inheritance law. Based on the widely studied classic, Usul Us-Shashi by Allama Nizam Ud Deen As Shashi and Siraji by Imam Siraj ud Deen Hanfi (R.A) (*This course is a continuation of the two years diploma curriculum).  New students are welcome to attend the classes.

Registration is required but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
