CAREER
The unique advantage of studying at
Tayiba institute is that students have the
opportunity to study Islam and other studies (TAFE or university) at
the same time. If students apply themselves and commit to serious
study, they are able to complete the Foundation Alim Diploma
and a Diploma or Certificate in another discipline (Business studies,
Accounting, Engineering, Food Technology, Computing, etc).
After graduation, there are several
pathways:
-
Continue
at Institute to complete the entire Five to Seven years
Alim program
(a further 5 years) of in-depth Islamic
knowledge. Students who graduate from the 2-year Foundation Alim
Diploma will be credited with 3 years of study towards a 7 years
Alim program; or
-
Continue
the Alim course at an overseas Islamic University or Institute
or
-
Commence
a professional career in the second discipline of study.
After graduation from the
Foundation Alim Diploma, inshaAllah, we will see our young men
and women participating as responsible Muslim citizens in the global
community. These young Muslim people are going to be the torch-bearers
of our Deen. They are going to be the future Mothers and Fathers
of the next generation.
With the extra Islamic knowledge
that they have gained, they will be better equipped to act as a
responsible Muslims / Mothers / Fathers / employees / employers. They
will make us proud to be called “Muslims” and will make us realise again
that the Ummah of Sayyidina Muhammad (s.a.w.) is the best
Ummah since the time of Adam (a.s.).

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Our education programs mostly rely on the generosity of committed volunteer teachers. Some teachers have shown their unselfish dedication and strong commitment for over 4 years. Teaching is such a rewarding job – seeing students complete the Quran, watching their good adhab, listening to their Islamic knowledge. This is compounded by the many Ahadith that tell us that teaching and learning the Quran brings many rewards in this life and the hereafter.
We need more volunteers to teach Quran (even teaching the alphabet), Arabic Language and Islamic Studies. The more teachers we have, the more one-on-one attention students receive. This will enable students to excel in their learning,
inshaAllah. Even 1.5 hours a week is much appreciated.
