Term dates, Holidays and class time tables

The academic year in Australia is broken up into four terms, commencing February and ending in early December. Tayiba institute’s term dates will coincide with the Victorian government school term dates.

Class timetables will be decided at the start of each term after it is known how many students are enrolled (i.e. class size) and their TAFE timetables are taken into consideration.  When the timetable has been finalised, it will be published on the Tayiba institute website.

Every Friday (Jummah) is a holiday.  Students would be expected to attend classes on Sunday instead. The two Eids will be holidays.  School holidays between terms are usually two weeks – except Term 4 which is 2 months.
