Eye Hospital Project:

Rahma-Tal-Lil-Alameen Eye Hospital is a project that can make a enormous contribution to mankind.  Restoring eyesight to those who have lost hope and improving the eyesight of many people around the world.

A healthy society must comprise of healthy people.  A human being is a creation of Allah (God), must be respected and have respected for it’s self.  Man can only be successful if he is healthy.  Keeping in mind the importance of health, this is why REH Trust purchased a plot of land and established the above objectives. The land purchased is ideally located to best serve people from Pakpattan and surrounding communities. The location is easily accessible by public transport.  The hospital will, by the will of Allah (inshaAllah), be equipped with up-to-date medical technology and facilities and will provide modern treatments to the poor. Pakpattan is a predominately rural area and the people there are very poor.  For a population of more than 1.4 million sadly, there is only one public hospital.  Most of the population are illiterate and the most basic understanding of hygiene is very poor – some people don’t even have the basic necessities such as soap, toothpaste and ladies sanitary items.  Many women, children and men have eye problems and eye disease due to the dust.  This is why the trust has identified and made its first priority to establish a modern eye clinic. Why the name “Rahma-Tal-Lil-Alameen Eye Hospital”:

Allah (the Almighty) says in the Quran: “Cooperate with each other in virtue  and piety and never cooperate with each other in sin and transgression (Chapter Al-Mai’idah, Verse 2)

In the light of the above verse, we laid down the foundation of REH Trust (the Trust).  The name of the trust is one of our beloved Prophet Muhammad’s famous attributes, meaning: “a mercy for the entire universe”.  With the blessing of his (peace be upon him) name, may the Trust administration and its supporters also receive blessing from name of this Trust. May Allah (the Almighty) grant health to the patients of this hospital and fulfil their needs by the sake of this name.
